I have set up this site in memory of my loving grandad Georgie. He was tragically taken from us too soon, when he was caught up in a brawl in a local betting office.
He is sadly missed by all his family and friends. Georgie was the funniest person i knew. He was always telling jokes and making people laugh, A real joker. He really knew how to make you smile when you were feeing down and brightened up your day. He loved to put a bet on the horses, so i hope theres a betting shop in heaven.
He sadly left behind loving wife Lily, 8 children and 16 granchildren, who all miss him so much.
He is reunited with brothers and sisters. xx

5 YEARS TODAY
WELL DAD I CANT BELIEVE ITS BEEN FIVE YEARS TODAY.I HOPE YOU ARE OK ESPECIALLY NOW THAT YOU ARE WITH YOUR TOMMY(PROBABLY HAVING YOU NORMAL PINT AND BET TOGETHER).WELL DAD ALAN STILL KEEPS TELLING EVERYONE YOUR OLD JOKES BUT HE DOES NT TELL THEM LIKE YOU USED TOO(NOBODY COULD)HALF THE TIME THEY WERE NOT EVEN FUNNY BUT THE WAY YOU TOLD THEM YOU HAD A KNACK OF MAKING EVEN THE WORST JOKES FUNNY .I AM JUST IN WORK AT THE MOMENT AND THATS THE TIME I ALWAYS SEEM TO THINK OF ALL THE THINGS YOU DID LIKE WHEN YOU USED TO SNEAK OUT WITH ALL OF US AND WE WOULD ALL ARGUE OVER WHO WAS TAKING YOU HOME COS ALL WE WERE ALL SCARED TO FACE OUR MUM COS SHE WOULD ALWAYS SHOUT AT US FOR GETTING YOU DRUNK BUT IT WAS WORTH IT COS YOU WERE GREAT FUN.I JUST WISH WE COULD DO THAT AGAIN COS WE WOULD ALL FIGHT OVER TAKING YOU HOME NOW(ALL OF US WOULD PROBABLY TAKE YOU NOW TOGETHER).KIRSTYS TAKING HER GCSES AT THE MOMENT ,AND RYAN IS STILL INTO HIS FOOTBALL BUT YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW THIS COS I KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING OVER ALL OF US. Hiya dad havnt said hello for a while but doesnt mean i havnt been thinking of you,i havnt been feeling too good the past few weeks,everything has just gotten on top of me but when i got up this morning i felt different,so i like to think that you av been listening to me an given me a good kick up the a--- cos i dont feel like shit anymore,an i am gonna stay feeling positive iv,e promised myself that much,thinking back to how suddenly you were taken from us all kinda made me realize wots important,you were the type of person who never let anything get you down,god i wish i could be like you dad,i always remember you used to say as long as you,ve got a roof over your head dont let nothing worry you,evrything will turn out right in the end,i miss you so much at times like this keep listening dad i really do need your guidance goodnite sleep well xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi dad just a quick hello,well would you beleive i finally got my bet up,you always told me i would one day didnt you.Hope your doing ok up in heaven,keep watching over us all,you wouldnt beleive how quick Loren and the rest of your younger grandkids are growing up so fast,its so sad that your not here to see them and they will have no memory of you as they get older,they were all babies when you passed away,but we will tell them all about you,their funny grandad.
Hiya dad really sorry i havnt been on for a while but havnt had a computer so i borrowed our linzis laptop till i get one,hope your doing ok up there,bet you and your Tommy are having a ball.Well dad we all had a good time in cyprus its a really nice place.the weather was fantastic in fact it was a bit too hot,me mum liked it a lot,she said that was her last holiday but we,ll see eh.Well what can i say about Las Vegas,that was fantastic,you would have been dead proud of us all having a little flutter,i won about $600 over the week but lost it all on the roulette tables the night before we came home,i tell ya i could really get into playing the roullette,one night me,Franny,Pat and Carol stayed up all night playing and before we knew it,it was 9o clock in the morning,so then we went out for breakfast still drunk,its a crazy place but i am definately going back next year,we all are and next time Mary is coming as well.Well dad gonna go now hope to have a computer in a few days so i can come on a bit more often,you and Tommy look after one another,love and miss you loads Dad,sending you hugs and kisses,bye for now.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
